Questions about the policy score
- What is an AI governance policy score?
- It is a structured check of whether your written AI policy answers the questions an auditor, customer or regulator will ask: who is accountable, what AI is in use, where requests are checked, what is recorded, which data is forbidden, how incidents escalate, what your limits are, and when the policy is reviewed.
- Is my policy text sent to GuardBotAI?
- No. The check runs entirely in your browser. The text is never uploaded, stored or logged by us, and the score disappears when you close the page.
- What score should we aim for?
- Eighty-five or above means every section of the accountability model is explicitly addressed. Most first-draft enterprise AI policies score between forty and sixty because they describe intentions without naming an owner, a control point or a record.
- Does a high score mean we are secure?
- No. A policy describes what you intend to enforce. Security comes from a control point that actually applies it to live traffic and keeps a record. The score measures the policy, not the enforcement.
